Gosforth Academy is proud to celebrate another year of outstanding A Level and Vocational results. Our students have achieved exceptional outcomes, securing places at top universities, prestigious apprenticeships, and exciting employment opportunities.

The atmosphere this morning was filled with joy and relief as students collected their results. Today marks the end of their school journey, and their success reflects sustained determination and resilience.

Headline Results:

• Average A Level Grade: B
• Average Vocational Grade: Distinction
• Over one-third of entries were awarded A* or A grades
• 83% of entries achieved grades A*- C
• 70 students attained an average grade of A or above

We are incredibly proud of all our students. While it’s never easy to highlight individuals among so many successes, the following examples showcase the breadth of achievement and the diverse destinations our Sixth Form students are now heading towards.

• Meredith Sweenie, Antonia Stewart, Awwab Osman, Lea Mouille, Safa Jaafar, Mawa Jaafar, Nour Isreb, Belal Mansour, Amos Collin, and Ryan Cockett all achieved a clean sweep of A* grades, which is an exceptional accomplishment.

• A third of our Sixth Form cohort join us from other schools, including Elliot Dyer, who enrolled in 2023. Elliot achieved an impressive set of results, A*A*A in Fine Art, Photography, and Film Studies and will now progress to an Art Foundation course.

• Leo Turnbull achieved an A*AB and will begin an apprenticeship with HSBC.

• Finn Milner earned A*AA and has secured a software apprenticeship with Enigma Interactive, the first of its kind offered by the company.
