    As one of the largest and most successful school Sixth Forms in the North East, we offer around 37 different courses that are suitable for all abilities and a wide range of interests that lead our students into various progression routes.

    8th January 2026

    This event is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn more about our academy's Sixth Form, including the comprehensive range of A Level and Vocational courses we offer. 


    No pre-registration is required for attendance, and students and families from other schools are welcome. This event will allow attendees to meet the Sixth Form team and current students, as well as learn about the application process. 

    8th January, 2026, 6pm to 8pm.

    At Gosforth Academy Sixth Form, we’re proud to support students in shaping their ambitions and building the skills they need to succeed. Whether you're aiming for university, apprenticeships, or a career path, our Sixth Form is where potential becomes progress.

    We’re now inviting students to begin their journey by attending our Open Evening on Thursday, 8th January 2026, from 6pm, and registering their interest online. No booking is required to attend the Open Evening, but registering your interest helps us keep you informed about course options and ensures you receive tailored support throughout the application process.

    To initiate the application process, please complete our 'Register Your Interest' form. On submission of this form, a member of the team will contact you to discuss your options and next steps. If you want to progress your application, the team will send you an Application Form (this is your formal application to join our Sixth Form).
