Gosforth Academy invites members of our community to join us for our annual Remembrance Service at 6pm on Thursday, 5th November, held at Gosforth Academy, NE3 2JH. Parking is available adjacent to Main School Reception.

This year’s service, led and performed by our students, will focus on World War Two, reflecting on the experiences, sacrifices, and stories of those who lived through the conflict.

The programme includes several pieces of music, performed by our students, capturing the mood of the country during wartime. A reflective period of Remembrance will be held for those, including our former students, for their sacrifice.

Tickets are free and can be reserved by emailing Gosforth Academy at admin@ga.newcastle.sch.uk or by telephone on 0191 285 1000 (option 7).

Tickets will then be put to one side for collection on arrival.

Donations (cash only) will be kindly received on arrival, in support of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

We warmly encourage all members of our community, including former veterens, to attend and share in this reflective and meaningful event.
