The final week of the summer term is dedicated to Sixth Form Progression Week for all students not able to secure a two week Work Experience placement. We offer to provide a flexible and productive experience for students to prepare for their next steps over the summer in an informed manner. Examples of activities completed in the past have included university visits (including the Universities of York, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield), team building days, CV and personal statement sessions, guest speakers and enterprise days.

The aim of the week is to ensure that there is a positive start to the UCAS/wider progression process that September brings, allowing students to be prepared for their applications and focused on achieving the grades they need.
