Admissions into our school from Year 9 is co-ordinated by Newcastle City Council. Full details can be found below, including the admissions policy for 2024.

Newcastle City Council co-ordinates admissions to all Newcastle state schools and academies, including Gosforth Academy.  Please consult the Newcastle City Council website, for help and support with applying for a school place if your child is currently in Year 8.

There is a right for people to object about the policy to the Schools Adjudicator (OSA). See the Schools Adjudicator website for more information on how to do this.
