Step One - Register Your Interest
As we are a very popular Sixth Form, we recommend that you Register Your Details with us as soon as possible. You can do this online. On submission of the form, one of the team will contact you to discuss your options and next steps. They will send you an Application Form to you to complete and return to us (this is your formal application to join our Sixth Form). Application Forms from students from other schools must be submitted before Friday 7th of February 2025.
Step two - Attend Our Open Evening
We want you to come and see our Sixth Form, learn about what we can offer you, meet our team and speak to existing students to hear first-hand what their experience has been like. You can visit us at our Open Evening on Thursday the 9th of January 2025 (6:00pm to 8:00pm).
If you don't make our Open Evening, don't worry, you can still apply online to join our Sixth Form and view our prospectus online or pop into school to receive a printed copy.
You have until the 7th of February 2025 to Register Your Interest with us and to submit an Application Form.
Step three - Progression Appointment
Following your application to join our Sixth Form, you will be contacted by the team and invited to come into school for a progression appointment. This is to discuss your options, and suitability for your course choices and to discuss progression routes. For students looking to join us from other schools, these will take place w/c 17th of February 2025. For our internal students, the progression appointments will happen w/c 10th February 2025.
Step four - Formal Placement Offer
After your progression appointment, you'll be sent an offer letter to join our Sixth Form which will be subject to your exam results. These will be sent out w/c the 10th of March 2025.
Step five - Complete Your Exams
We know how stressful preparing for and sitting exams can be and we wish you the very best of luck with these. We are here for you post results to welcome you on board or to discuss alternative options with you.
Step six - Enrolment
Come into school on the 21st of August 2025 to formally enrol into our Sixth Form. We can help you with timetabling if needed or if you didn't get the results you were hoping for, we can look at alternatives with you on the day. We are here to support you and look forward to you joining our successful Sixth Form.
