As part of their work skills development, a group of our sixth formers benefitted from a personalised tour of the South Gosforth Metro Interchange project. We were welcomed into Volkerfitzpatrick's offices and given an overview of the Volker Group, shown around site by the Health & Safety Manager of this £70m project. Afterwards students heard insights from their younger colleagues including a Quantity Surveyor and Engineering Apprentice. Thanks to Volkerfitzpatrick students left with a much greater understanding of the opportunities within the Construction sector and pathways to getting employed.
