Thanks to the Newcastle United Foundation (NU Foundation) and the Premier League, the official Premier League cup was displayed at Gosforth Academy today.
Gosforth Academy was selected for a cup visit as part of the NU Foundation programme. In school, the programme delivers daily intervention and support sessions using a range of different activities, including arts, physical activity, music, film, media, Princes Trust/Arts Award and more. Students from the NU Foundation programme were invited to view the cup and have their photo taken. In addition, Gosforth Academy students who have 100% attendance this year were invited to come and see the cup. The Gosforth Academy Girls' and Boys' Football teams also got the opportunity to see the cup up close.
