This year's Annual Food Bank Appeal launches next week. For the last few years, we have made a collection for donation to the Trussell Trust's West End Food Bank Winter Appeal, and each year we have collected astonishing amounts due to the generosity of the Gosforth Academy Community. Through this we try to involve as many of our students as possible in both upper and lower school and rely on staff to encourage, remind and promote the cause, a HUGE thank you as always for this.
We are asking for donations to made between 23rd November - 10th December to any collection point:
- SPORT AT GOSFORTH
- 6TH FORM COMMON ROOM
- MAIN RECEPTION
- ART DEPARTMENT
- STUDENT SUPPORT BASE
- COUSINS LIBRARY
Watch out for further information on which items are particularly in need, however, basics food items, toiletries and children's gifts are always appreciated.
