Support Assistant L4 (Cover Supervisor)

Salary: N5 £19,319 - £20,914 actual pro rata

The Gosforth Group is a multi-academy trust currently consisting of four schools (Gosforth Academy, Gosforth Junior High Academy, North Gosforth Academy and Jesmond Park Academy). In September 2021 two new schools opened – Gosforth Great Park Academy [y5 to 11] and Callerton Academy [y7 to 11].
Gosforth Academy is a successful school which was graded ‘outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection.
You will be required to supervise classes during the absence of the class teacher and will be expected to work with and supervise small groups of students under the guidance of senior staff. This will include supporting the work of the Pastoral Team, implementing work programmes, managing student behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities in line with the school’s and Multi Academy Trust’s policies and procedures.
