On the 8th December we took a group of students from Y9/Y10 to NU:CASTLE, they had been working on a sustainability project for the past few weeks.
They presented in front of other schools and a panel of judges, both groups from Gosforth did really well. Presenting ideas around upcycling and being creative with how to address these issues.
The group also got a chance to visit the Helix Energy Centre, where they did a building tour, learned about the project and how its helping shape the future of fuel/energy in the city.
