The sky is not the limit for Year 12 student William Pitman

Last October,  William Pitman participated in a brilliant activity relating to space experiments.

He took part in a NASA Mission Discovery conference at the Civic Centre in Newcastle, where all of the students involved were invited to design an experiment and present it to all of the participants.

Out of 300 students, William’s experiment was chosen by NASA, and is currently being created at Oxford University. It will be checked by NASA, then sent via the SpaceX Falcon rocket to the International Space Station, where they will conduct his experiment and publish the results.

This is an exceptional achievement for William, who is currently studying A Levels in Biology, Physics and Maths.
