On 15th January, 30 Year 13 Physics students travelled to Kielder Observatory in Northumberland.
Students had the opportunity to use multiple telescopes to get a closer look at stars and planets, they even got to touch a real piece of the Moon and stand on a piece of Mars!
The weather was perfect and with a beautiful clear sky, we managed to see many objects up and close through the telescopes, including many of Jupiter's moons, Saturn's rings and the Moon in fantastic detail.
